Berserkers are a sect of fighters who focuses more on brute strength and the direct approach instead of the complex combat maneuvers of the warriors. They are known to have a foul and uncontrollable temper, walking a thin line between sanity and insanity. At times, they are known to be overwhelmed by their temper and plunge into a frenzy of rage. While in this state, a berserker is known to inflict massive amount of damage on their opponent as well as being able to withstand incredible blows from others. There are times when a berserker may be overcome by panic when they cannot see. During this period the berserker may begin to land blows at frantic pace until his panic subsides. At midpoint of their career, the members of this guild choose a focus for their deadly rage thus becoming unstoppable juggernauts of fury, or more controlled zealots able to always calm their deadly anger only to call upon it once again when it serves them best. Late in their career they may choose a single weapon type to gain expertise in, thus becoming more skilled with it then mere common swordsman. Soon after their choice in Path Focus flowers into fruition and they gain further abilities dependent upon their earlier choices.

Enethier's guide to Berserkers

-Berserkers have lost dagger, staff, and shield block cuz they are not pansies. 10-13-23

-There are NO MORE rage paths, while rage is still a core zerk skill it no longer a defining selectable. 10-13-23

-All zerks rage for between 2-4 hours. 10-13-23

-All zerks have a 50/50 chance to relax in combat and a very high chance to relax out of combat 10-13-23

-Rage no longer drops when your victim dies IF something else is still fighting you, otherwise rage will drop on victim death as usual. 10-13-23

-Swing is no longer a passive skill, it is now an active AOE attack. Zerks will swing with one or both weapons (if dual wielding). Swing chance to hit is higher with a 2h weapon but obviously dual wielding does more damage since it swings twice. Additionally swing does % max hp damage to non pet mobs. 10-13-23

-Roar now has a chance to make the enemy turn and flee from combat (boss mobs however will never turn and flee) 10-13-23

-All zerks have improved headbutt/haymaker when raged (the same bonuses only anger zerks used to get) 10-13-23

-All zerks now have bloodhaze, but it works at a lower % than it did before. 10-13-23

-All zerks now have ferocity (berserk spam for the win) 10-13-23

-Zerks have a new skill called rampage. Whenever you kill something you get a boost to damroll for a while and you heal based on the level of what you killed. Repeat kills always heal you but the damroll does not stack on new kills, though it does refresh the cooldown. 10-13-23

-Zerks have a new skill called indomitable. This is a passive skill that gives them a chance to resist blackjack, strangle, sleep, hypnosis and ecstasy. The chance goes up significantly while raged. 10-13-23

-Zerks get a weapon lore that leads to a new skill. Zerks can choose to be a specialist in sword, spear, flail, mace, axe, or polearm. 10-13-23

-The specialist skill allows you to get your chosen weapon to 105% and unlocks a new skill. 10-13-23

-Sword specialist unlocks 4th attack, but ONLY when using a sword, or swords. 10-13-23

-Spear specialist unlocks javelin, this skill allows you to chuck a wielded spear at your enemy for big damage (range of 6 rooms). Note you must be wielding a spear in one of your hands and then you have to go pick it up after to get it back. The damage goes up with the weight of the spear but the accuracy goes down with the weight. 10-13-23

-Flail specialist unlocks flail storm which is just like a physical firestorm. 10-13-23

-Mace specialist allows the zerk to riposte, but ONLY with maces, additionally there is a small chance to disarm the enemy on each successful riposte. 10-13-23

-Axe specialist allows assault when using axes. You will deal small damage each time the enemy blocks or parries your attack, you also deal +25% damage with axes. 10-13-23

-Polearm specialist allows backcutter, but it only fires when using a polearm. 10-13-23
