History:
Panthera in Aelisus originated as fierce hunters in the untamed wilderness. Their survival skills and unity allowed them to thrive. These skilled hunters created close-knit communities, trading prized pelts and meats from challenging hunts. As time passed, they established Apex City, a sanctuary for panthera and other wild beings. While once rugged, the city has evolved into a safe haven on the Aelisian Wild's edge, blending civilization with its untamed roots.

Religion:
Hunting and self-reliance are the panthera's main religion. Though some may come to worship Wendr, most panthera follow their instincts rather than a chosen deity.
Physical Features:
Panthera in Aelisus are humanoid creatures resembling large cats, their fur-covered bodies taking on a variety of colors and patterns, mirroring panthers, tigers, or jaguars. All panthera share retractable claws, which they use to disorient foes by slashing at their faces. This disorientation grants them a unique combat minihaste, enabling lightning-fast attacks. Their keen hunting skills also grant them a heightened sense of motion, making sneaking past them nearly impossible.
However, panthera's affinity for night hunting and raw meat comes with a drawback - an aversion to fire and vulnerability to its damage. In Aelisus, these feline beings are renowned for their agility and predatory prowess.
Society:
Panthera society is governed largely by who is the best hunter. The strongest or most intelligent panthera still needs to eat, and those who cannot fend for themselves are almost always outcast by their peers. Even panthera children are often sent off to hunt for any prey they can manage. Panthera have developed a natural balance with the world around them and are typically neutral, though some have found solace in following the light.
Relationships with Other Races:
Any being that shares the values of the panthera can quickly gain acceptance by the majority of them. In being self-reliant and a capable hunter, the panthera will consider almost any ally, as long as they are respected for their own abilities as well.
