When the monk becomes like the snake, he immediately moves in a hypnotic way in an attempt to charm the opponent into a state of hysteria. After that, he gains evasiveness and his parries are greatly improved as a result. When kicking in this stance, he gains a chance to imbue his opponents with poison.
